The goal of my research is to integrate robotics, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms to design innovative robotic technologies to assist people with cognitive and physical disabilities. We call this research domain 'Assisitve Robotics'. I believe assistive robotics has a huge potential to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities. There are a lot of algorithmic, engineering, ethical, and social challenges involved with the desing of autonomous assisitve robots for vulnerable end-users. I thoroughly enjoy working on them. It gives me a way to say "Thank You" for everything I am blessed with!
